I love quoting with visuals. Lovely choices to both

    • Harper Eliot says:

This photograph seemed to need it; and actually it completely changed the meaning of the image for me… but in a good way.

  2. Jane says:

What a beautiful, beautiful photograph. The rumpled bed, the light, the smoke curling upwards from the cigarette. Fabulous quote, too. Just stunning. Jane xxx

    • Harper Eliot says:

Thank you! One of those photographs I imagined before I took it; and was very pleased it worked.

I love the smoke from the cigarette; wonderful photography :)

The quote and the picture compliment each other so well. I’m almost speechless!

    • Harper Eliot says:

Wow – speechless, eh? The quotation completely changed the meaning of the photograph, but I do adore it for that.

I feel like I have stepped back in time and found myself in 1960′s Paris. I don’t know exactly why this image makes me feel that way but it does and it is one of those images that makes my imagination fire up with all sorts of scenes that could be played out here

Yes! That’s what I like about it as well: it’s atmospheric and it holds so many possible meanings, and sins… thank you.

Somehow this image made me feel sad, lonely. As if something is missing… I think I feel the loneliness the quote evokes.

    Beautiful photo!

    • Harper Eliot says:

Yes; when I took it, it was really just about the possibility of morning. But the quotation changed it to something sadder… which I really like. But it’s certainly lonely.

Well, I couldn’t love it untainted, could I? I’m all about the dark side. And thank you!

Lovely image & quote to go with it; the lighting and composition as well as the smoke give it a mysterious feel.

I love how suggestive this image is. The smoke burning. The bed messed up. Looking like a relaxing morning after a rough night. Nicely done.
